Who we are
Sensible South Dakota PAC (“Sensible South Dakota,” “we,” “us”) publishes this voter guide at sensiblesouthdakota.org. We are a South Dakota political action committee.
Use of this site
- The site is provided for personal, non-commercial informational use by South Dakota voters and journalists.
- You agree not to copy, scrape, or republish substantial portions of the guide for commercial purposes, impersonate other users, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or interfere with the site’s normal operation.
- Linked third-party services (Resend, Supabase, sdsos.gov, candidate sites, news outlets) are governed by their own terms. We’re not responsible for content or behavior on those sites.
Submissions
When you send us a tip, correction, or other message via our contact forms, we may use the substance of your submission to improve the guide. We do not publish submitter names without explicit permission.
SMS & text messaging program
If you opt in via our subscribe form by checking the consent box, the following terms govern the text-message program:
- Consent. By providing your phone number and checking the consent box, you expressly consent to receive recurring text messages from Sensible South Dakota PAC. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or contribution.
- Message content. Messages relate to the 2026 voter guide, candidate updates, slate changes, and election reminders.
- Frequency. Message frequency varies. You can expect at most a handful of messages per month, with more frequent messages in the final week before an election.
- Costs. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier and plan.
- Opt-out. Reply STOP to any message at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts.
- Help. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at info@sensiblesouthdakota.org.
- Carriers.AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, U.S. Cellular, and other carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Privacy. SMS consent and opt-in information will not be sold or shared with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
Disclaimer
The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep the guide accurate, but candidate filings, positions, and election details change. Always verify on sdsos.gov before you vote.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sensible South Dakota PAC and its volunteers are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or the SMS program.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Dakota.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
